The Shit They Send to Mauritania: Sewing Machines

I’m starting a weekly or twice a week (actually whenever I feel like it) post on the poorly-made items that are sent to Mauritania. I honestly do not understand why they are even produced.

We got our sewing machines a few weeks ago but I didn’t have the chance to open the boxes until a few days ago. It was such a disappointment. Besides the fact that they look cool because they look vintage – they’re a piece of shit (excuse my language). One was already broken before I took it out of the box. I’m not sure if the machine itself is broken but the wooden part is broken; therefore, it is unusable. The other one is in pretty good shape besides the obvious fact that the nails keep falling off.

I didn’t expect a Singer or anything, but I definitely expected better. Anyways, I don’t even want to test it; I am scared that it won’t work.
